Cavaquinho

Chords, scales, keys and strumming patterns on cavaquinho. The chords cover all 12 roots in five types (major, minor, 7, m7 and maj7), each with shapes, fingerings and audio. The scales and the chords of all 24 keys show the shapes on the neck; the strumming patterns play in the browser.

On the cavaquinho, four steel strings tuned D–G–B–D pack the chord into a small, bright space — every finger counts.
