C6 chord: major sixth
C6 is the major sixth chord on C: C, E, G and A (1–3–5–6). C6 stacks the root C, the major third E, the perfect fifth G and the major sixth A. The sixth chord adds the major sixth to the triad.

It usually sounds warmer and more conclusive than maj7, with less weight on the seventh.
