Notes in B6: B – D# – F# – G#Formula: 1 – 3 – 5 – 6In the formula, the numbers count steps of the major scale starting from the note that names the chord; "b" lowers a half step, "#" raises one — and a slash names the bass note.
The sixth chord adds the major sixth to the triad. It usually sounds warmer and more conclusive than maj7, with less weight on the seventh.
