Notes in F11: F – A – C – Eb – G – BbFormula: 1 – 3 – 5 – b7 – 9 – 11In the formula, the numbers count steps of the major scale starting from the note that names the chord; "b" lowers a half step, "#" raises one — and a slash names the bass note.
The dominant stretched to the eleventh. In practice the third steps aside, because it and the fourth clash a semitone apart; what remains is a wide, almost suspended chord.
